Von Pearson

School: Tennessee
Position: WR
Positive: Junior-college transfer who's started the past two seasons and finished with 38 receptions, 409 yards and 3 TDs as a senior. Adequately sized receiver still rough around the edges. Comes back to the ball or finds the clearing in the defense to make himself an available target. Extends and makes the reception away from his frame. Easily makes the catch downfield at full stride, adjusting to the errant throw and looking the pass in.
Negative: Moderately productive. Not big for possession receiver and lacks the 2nd gear. Takes his eyes off the ball on occasion which results in dropped passes.
Analysis: Pearson possesses the size and speed to lineup as a 5th receiver at the next level but is a prospect who will need time developing his game.
