Ricardo Louis

School: Auburn
Position: WR
Positive: Posted career totals of 46 receptions, 716 receiving yards and 3 TDs as a senior when he became a full-time starter. Underrated receiver prospect coming off a career season. Uses his hands to separate from defenders, comes back to the ball or gets vertical and competes to come away with the reception. Extends and works to make the reception away from his frame, adjusts to the errant throw and displays good eye/hand coordination. Stays low exiting breaks then uses his frame to shield away defenders. Quickly transitions up the field after the catch. Easily makes the reception in stride and shows the ability to beat defenders in a foot race.
Negative: Does not always catch the ball cleanly and bobbles or drops catchable throws. Does not accelerate into pass routes.
Analysis: Louis is an athletic pass catcher with the size, speed and the ability to make long plays from the line of scrimmage. He's rough around the edges but comes with tremendous upside and if properly coached could produce as a 4th or 5th receiver at the next level.
