Rashawn Scott

School: Miami-Fl
Position: WR
Positive: Started 11 games last season posting a career-best 52 receptions, 695 yards and 5 TDs. Nice sized, fluid pass catcher with soft and strong hands. Quickly releases off the line, displays good awareness and tracks the ball in the air. Adjusts or contorts to the errant throw, displays outstanding timing and makes the difficult reception in a crowd. Gets vertical and exposes himself to the big hit in order to come away with the reception. Extends his hands offering the quarterback a target and plucks the ball out of the air.
Negative: One speed receiver, lacks a burst as well as downfield speed. Minimally productive until his senior season.
Analysis: After sitting on the sidelines in 2014 with ineligibility, Scott rebounded well and proved himself to be a legitimate NFL prospect this year. He possesses the skills necessary to be a 5th receiver used primarily in underneath coverage.
