Paul McRoberts

School: Southeast Missouri State
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors the past two seasons. Posted a career-best 76 receptions, 940 yards and 9 TDs as a senior. Also averaged 11.6 yards on 14 punt returns. Consistent pass catcher who also helps out the return game. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, plays with excellent balance as well as body control and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Looks the pass into his hands, stays focused and extends to make the reception away from his body. Gets vertical in a crowd to high point throws and nicely times his receptions. Quickly turns upfield running after the catch and has a burst.
Negative: Lacks the 2nd gear and not a downfield threat. Must pick up the blocking intensity.
Analysis: McRoberts is a nice sized receiver with reliable hands and possibilities as a 5th wide out/return specialist.
