Jaydon Mickens

School: Washington
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter who posted a career-best 65 receptions as a sophomore. Senior totals included 58 receptions, 692 yards and 2 TDs. Experienced return specialist. Quick, elusive skill player that's been consistently productive. Plays faster than his 40 time, creates yardage when the ball is in his hands and very effective running after the catch. Fluid releasing off the line scrimmage, immediately gets to top speed and plays with balance. Sharp route runner, quickly gets in and out of breaks then separates from defenders. Uses the sidelines well and plays with body control. Adjusts to the errant throw and makes the reception in stride.
Negative: Has a thin build and struggles in battles. Lacks breakaway speed.
Analysis: Mickens is a smallish slot receiver/return specialist with a versatile game. His ability to produce on special teams this summer will determine whether or not he makes a roster come fall.
