Jamal Robinson

School: La-Lafayette
Position: WR
Positive: Starter two of the past three seasons, missing most of the 2014 campaign with knee and foot injuries. Totals last year included 54 receptions, 824 yards and 5 TDs. Posted a career-best 54 receptions, 862 yards and 8 TDs in 2013. Nice sized receiver with a productive game. Comes back to the ball or follows the quarterback across the field to make himself an available target. Uses his frame to shield away defenders and protect the pass. For the most part makes the reception with his hands away from his frame. Relatively effective running after the catch and follows blocks everywhere on the field. Has return experience.
Negative: Lacks the 2nd gear and deep burst. Does not display naturally soft hands. Lacks a quick release off the line.
Analysis: Robinson has the size and pass catching skill to make a roster as a 5th receiver.
