Jalin Marshall

School: Ohio State
Position: WR
Positive: Broke into the starting lineup last season finishing the year with 36 receptions, 477 receiving yards and 5 TDs. Developing pass catcher who flashes ability as a vertical receiver. Quick off the line, displays a terrific burst and runs sharp routes. Nicely adjusts to the errant throw, displays good eye/hand coordination and extends to make the reception away from his frame. Runs effective crossing patterns, fast in both a straight line as well as laterally and nicely makes the reception at full speed. Comes back to the ball to make himself an available target and gives effort blocking.
Negative: Not a sturdy pass catcher. Has a limited body of work. May struggle getting off jams at the next level as well as battling defenders.
Analysis: Marshall displayed a lot of ability the past two seasons yet never truly established himself as a number one receiver prospect. He offers potential as a 4th or possibly 3rd receiver on Sunday that can lineup on the flanks or in the slot.
