Charone Peake

School: Clemson
Position: WR
Positive: Moved into the starting lineup as a senior then posted career totals of 50 receptions, 716 yards and 5 TDs. Dependable receiver with good hands and nice size. Displays good awareness, easily adjusts to the errant throw and makes the reception in stride. Uses his hands to separate from opponents and offers the quarterback a big target. Looks the ball into his hands and makes the difficult catch in traffic. Keeps the play in bounds running after the catch. Gives effort blocking.
Negative: Despite his 40 time cannot run to the deep throw and does not play with a 2nd gear. Average run after the catch skill. Minimally productive until his senior season.
Analysis: Peak really improved his game last season and has enough pass catching skill as well as the size to line up as a 4th receiver.
