Joshua Perkins

School: Washington
Position: TE
Positive: Two-year starter who finished with a career-best 36 receptions, 539 yards and 3 TDs as a senior. Undersized move tight end prospect with natural pass catching skill. Plays with a large amount of quickness, sells routes and separates from defenders. Nicely makes the reception in stride, adjusting to the errant throw and coming away with the difficult catch. Consistently catches the ball with his hands. Bends his knees, blocks with leverage and explosive at the point of attack. Gives effort blocking.
Negative: Possesses average size, strength and cannot finish blocks. Looks more like a possession receiver rather than a tight end.
Analysis: Perkins is an underrated prospect and a pass catching tight end who consistently gets down the seam to make big plays. He offers definite possibilities as a move tight end/H-back.
