Jacob Duzey

School: Iowa
Position: TE
Positive: Three-year starter who saw limited action last season after struggling with knee injury. Led Big Ten tight ends with 36 receptions as a junior. Athletic pass catching tight end whose career has been jeopardized by injury. Comes back to the ball to make himself an available target and consistently makes the reception away from his frame. Fluid releasing off the line scrimmage, effective blocking in motion and easily moves about the field.
Negative: Lacks bulk, functional football strength and struggles to finish blocks. Had surgery in April 2015 to repair a ruptured patella tendon and never regained full strength or playing form last year.
Analysis: After his junior campaign Duzey was considered a draftable prospect but barely saw the field as a senior in 2015. He possesses the size and speed to play the next level but may not pass medical exams.
