Halapoulivaati Vaitai

School: TCU
Position: T
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a junior. Strong, small area blocker with growth potential. Stays square, keeps his feet moving and makes good use of blocking angles. Terrific pass protector who anchors at the point of attack and shows the ability to adjust then knock oncoming blitzers from the action. Sets with a wide base, displays a nice degree of agility and effectively fights with his hands throughout the play.
Negative: Gets marginal movement run blocking. Plays like an average athlete.
Analysis: Despite being bothered with a knee injury last season, Vaitai did a solid job in TCU's passing offense and showed progress in his game. He must improve his run blocking but offers growth potential and is worth developing on the practice squad.
