Tion Green

School: Cincinnati
Position: RB
Positive: Posted a career-best 729 yards rushing and 8 TDs as a senior when he was Cincinnati's primary ball carrier. Underrated interior running back with good size. Quick footed, shows the ability to avoid piles or defenders in a small area and works runs. Patient, will pick and choose his spots on the inside. Breaks tackles to pick up yardage off initial contact or falls forward when tackled for extra yardage. Gives effort blocking, squaring into defenders and holding the point of attack. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield.
Negative: Loses a lot of momentum trying to quickly cut back against the grain. Not a breakaway threat. Must improve his ball security.
Analysis: Green is a nice sized ball carrier who does the little things well and a prospect who could catch on as a backup fullback in a West Coast offense.
