Mikal Abdul-Saboor

School: William & Mary
Position: RB
Positive: Three-year starter who began his college career at quarterback. All-Conference selection as a junior when he posted a career-best 1266 rushing yards and 12 TDs. Versatile, hard running skill player with tremendous instincts. Runs hard on the inside, plays bigger than his listed size and falls forward when tackled. Patiently waits for blocks develop, effectively follows them everywhere on the field and consistently finds the running lanes. Has a burst, displays good short area quickness and a solid receiver out of the backfield.
Negative: More of a one cut runner and not a truly creative back. Lacks size and speed for the next level.
Analysis: Abdul-Saboor was a terrific college football player but lacks the measurables for the NFL and will have to earn his wage on special teams.
