Marshaun Coprich

School: Illinois State
Position: RB
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-America honors the past two years. Career-best 2274 yards rushing and 27 TDs came during his junior season. Undersized but creative skill player who nicely projects as a situational runner. Quick footed, avoids piles or defenders and shows the ability to dart through the small creases of the defense. Loses little momentum cutting back against the grain, possesses the speed and quickness necessary to turn the corner and has a burst which he turns on in a single step. Possesses outstanding vision, instinctive and strong for his size. Patiently waits for blocks to develop and consistently runs North/South.
Negative: Not a ball carrier that's picks up much yardage off initial contact. Gives effort blocking but does not get results. Average pass catching production.
Analysis: Coprich was a consistent performer at Illinois State and projects as a third-down back/situational runner at the next level if he improves his pass catching skill.
