Keenan Reynolds

School: Navy
Position: RB
Positive: Four-year starter at quarterback who finished with an FBS record 88 career touchdowns and 4559 rushing yards. Quick, elusive option quarterback who projects to running back at the next level. Intelligent, competitive and shows great field vision. Finds the running lanes, makes multiple defenders miss and a slippery ball handler. Effectively uses his blocks, shows great timing and quickly changes direction or cuts back against the grain without losing momentum. Runs with balance, body control and agility. Not afraid of contact and works to get as much yardage as possible from each carry.
Negative: Possesses a short burst and cannot run to daylight. Does not have the body type to take a pounding on an every down basis. Struggled with fumbles throughout his college career.
Analysis: After his two-year military commitment Reynolds should receive serious consideration as a third-down back or situational runner. He could complement his game with return skills and pass catching ability.
