Jacobi Green

School: Richmond
Position: RB
Positive: All-America and all-Conference selection as a senior after posting career totals of 1595 yards rushing and 21 TDs when he moved into the starting lineup on a full-time basis. Also added 28 receptions for 359 yards. Smaller but creative running back also effective catching the ball out of the backfield. Displays outstanding vision, instincts and will pick and choose his spots. Displays good short area quickness, cuts back against the grain and runs with an aggressive style. Follows blocks, has a burst through the hole and the agility to turn the corner. Solid pass catcher and adjusts to the errant throw then snatches the ball away from his frame.
Negative: Not a strong ball carrier that picks up yardage off initial contact. Average size/speed numbers.
Analysis: Green displayed steady progression in his game the past three seasons and could have a role as a situational running back if he produces on special teams.
