Daniel Lasco

School: California
Position: RB
Positive: Two-year starter who was limited by injury as a senior. Career totals of 1115 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns came during his junior season. Explosive ball carrier with solid size/speed numbers. Displays good vision, effectively uses blocks and shows the ability to create yardage. Patiently waits for blocks develop, will pick and choose his spots on the inside and keeps his feet moving. Shows a burst through the hole and has enough speed to turn the corner. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield extending his hands and making the reception away from his frame.
Negative: Not a sturdy skill player. Struggled with injury. Rarely picks up much yardage off initial contact.
Analysis: Lasco is a terrific athlete who flashed skill but has shown little in the way of consistency. He offers ability in all areas of the running back position but needs to stay healthy and complete his game.
