Everett Golson

School: Florida State
Position: QB
Positive: Notre Dame transfer who finished the season with 1778 yards passing and 11 TDs. Undersized college quarterback with a big arm. Elusive, easily escapes pass rushers and picks up yardage with his legs. Has the ability to improvise, displays terrific quickness in his overall game and for the most part does not have lapses in judgment. Easily gets outside the pocket on designed rollout plays and powers the ball into targets.
Negative: Does not sense pressure. Must improve his overall pass placement. Not decisive in the pocket. Must learn to put touch on throws.
Analysis: Early in his Notre Dame career Golson was an impact quarterback on the college level before things began to unravel. He's a solid athlete with a good arm but a prospect who may be best playing football north of the border.
