Max Wittek

School: Hawaii
Position: QB
Positive: USC transfer who started 8 games last season finishing with 1542 yards, 7 TDs and 15 INT's. Strong-armed quarterback with next level qualities. Stands strong in the pocket, keeps his eyes down the field and shows the ability to make the throw on the move. Finds the open wide out, has a quick release and fires the ball through tight windows. Effective looking off the safety and setting up screen passes. Delivers the ball with speed and passes quickly get to the intended target. Goes through progressions, looks away from covered targets and shows the ability to deliver passes with pinpoint accuracy.
Negative: Holds the ball a little too long in the pocket. Not a quarterback that will pick up yardage with his legs. Has a terrible interception-to-touchdown ratio.
Analysis: Witteck had his ups and downs last season but is a solid developmental prospect with potential as a 3rd quarterback on Sunday.
