De'Vondre Campbell

School: Minnesota
Position: OLB
Positive: Two-year starter who finished with a career-best 92 tackles last season. Athletic weak side linebacker prospect who flashes next level ability. Fast, easily goes sideline to sideline and covers a lot of area on the field. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and flows well to the action. Quick, terrific in pursuit and runs down ball handlers from the backside. Fires up the field defending the run, shows skill in space and effective in coverage.
Negative: Lacks overall bulk and engulfed at the point of attack. Streaky, does not always play to his level of ability or meet expectations. Has been labeled as soft by some scouts.
Analysis: Campbell possesses classic weak side linebacker measurables, athleticism and ability. He offers tremendous upside and can eventually develop into a starter at the next level if he picks up the intensity and plays to his potential.
