Luke Rhodes

School: William & Mary
Position: ILB
Positive: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season when he posted a career-best 98 tackles. Athletic prospect who gives effort at linebacker and on special teams. Relentless up the field, sells out on the blitz and wraps up tackling. Makes plays in the open field, displays good instincts in coverage and has a terrific sense for what's happening. Remains disciplined with assignments, keeps the action in front of him and does not bite on play action passes. Shows a good change of direction, excellent sideline to sideline range and covers good amount of area on the field. Gets depth on pass drops and chases the action hard.
Negative: Slightly undersized and gets swallowed up by blocks. Marginal force on the blitz.
Analysis: Rhodes is an underrated linebacker and a three down defender with height limitations. He offers possibilities in multiple defensive schemes and should be a core special-teams player on Sunday.
