Kentrell Brothers

School: Missouri
Position: ILB
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior when he led the nation with 152 tackles. Tough, smart defender best making plays in the box or up the field. Flows well laterally, takes good angles to the action and a terrific run defender. Flies around ball carriers, lowering his shoulders and wrapping up at the point of attack. Breaks down well, displays a good degree of quickness in his game and fires to the action. Flashes ability in coverage, fluid turning his hips and gets depth on pass drops.
Negative: One speed linebacker and does not show a burst. Taken from the action by blocks or slowed through the trash.
Analysis: Brothers was a tackling machine for Missouri and is a terrific run defender that offers potential on the inside of a 34 defense.
