Antonio Morrison

School: Florida
Position: ILB
Positive: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior when he finished with a team leading 103 tackles, also producing 12 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. Undersized but explosive pursuit linebacker who displays speed moving in every direction. Fires up the field filling gaps, displays a tremendous closing burst and wraps up tackling. Quick moving in reverse, easily gets outside the numbers in pursuit or sells out on the blitz. Instinctive, plays heads-up football yet at the same time works to get involved in the action. Displays ability in coverage and also smooth scraping laterally.
Negative: Undersized, gets caught up in the wash or engulfed at the point. Suffered a significant knee injury at the end of the 2014 season. Arrested twice during the summer of 2013.
Analysis: Despite size limitations Morrison consistently produced on the field for the Gators and can be lethal when given a free shot at the ball handler. Best defending the run, he's a natural fit on the inside of a 34 alignment.
