Joseph Dahl

School: Washington State
Position: G
Positive: Three-year starter who lined up at both left tackle and guard. Awarded All-America and all-Conference honors last season. Relatively athletic offensive line prospect with potential in a variety of systems. Plays with good knee bend, adjusts to oncoming defenders and recovers to knock opponents from the action. Patient, stays square and explosive at the point. Fires out to the 2nd level, effective blocking in motion and effectively works his hands throughout the play. Keeps his head on a swivel and works well with linemates.
Negative: Lacks functional football strength and gets walked back into the pocket. Overextends into run blocks.
Analysis: Dahl was a consistent lineman on the college level and offers a good degree of next level potential. He will only improve as he physically matures and adds strength to his game.
