Caleb Williams

School: Rice
Position: G
Positive: Four-year starter who spent his career at right tackle. Underrated college tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Quick off the snap, plays with good lean and explosive at the point. Competes hard, gets a pad on opponents and shows the ability to knock defenders from their from their angle of attack. Works his hands throughout the play, keeps his head on a swivel and stays square. Picks up stunts or blitzes thrown by the opposition and works well with teammates. Anchors in pass protection.
Negative: Must do a better job sinking his butt at the line of scrimmage. Not consistent placing his hands into defenders. Lacks top footwork sliding off the edge.
Analysis: Williams lacks the desired size for the next level but is a very good football player who could back up at several spots on the offensive line.
