Alex Redmond

School: UCLA
Position: G
Positive: Three-year starter at guard awarded all-Conference honors as a sophomore. Strong, explosive offensive line prospect with a nice upside. Fires off the snap, quick to the 2nd level and stays square, keeping defenders in front of him. Anchors in pass protection, blocks with good lean and turns opponents from the line. Keeps his head on a swivel, works well with teammates and plays with a nasty attitude.
Negative: Displays a lot of stiffness in his game which hurts his ability to finish blocks. Must improve his fundamentals, block with better pad level and be quicker with his hands. Multiple off field issues which will raise red flags.
Analysis: Redmond was a steady starter during his college career, flashing next level ability and the underlying talent to play Sunday football. He also has a lot of off the field distractions which hurt him in college and could hamper his fortunes moving forward.
