Trevon Pendleton

School: Michigan State
Position: FB
Positive: Started 27 games the past 3 seasons. Hard-working fullback with ability as a pass catcher. Displays terrific vision, physically aggressive and sacrifices his body to open up running lanes. Stays with blocks, keeps his feet moving and attacks assignments. Gets movement run blocking. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield adjusting to the errant throw and making the tough reception with defenders draped on him.
Negative: Just an average offensive threat almost never carried the ball for Michigan State. Limited production as a pass catcher.
Analysis: Pendleton is a throwback of sorts as he does the little things well and works hard to open the running lanes for ball carriers. Unlikely to be drafted, he could catch on for a team which keeps two fullbacks on a roster.
