Glenn Gronkowski

School: Kansas State
Position: FB
Positive: All-Conference selection last season as a junior when he started 13 games. Totals included 5 receptions for 76 yards. Explosive blocker who plays with a nasty attitude. Quick out of his stance, accelerates into blocks and takes defenders from the action. Opens up the running lanes or clears the pocket for quarterbacks. Attacks assignments, consistently gets a pad on defenders and shows the ability to adjust to oncoming blitzers. Solid pass catcher extending his hands and making the reception away from his frame.
Negative: Really not much of an offensive threat on the college level. Has a short arms for lead blocker.
Analysis: Gronkowski possesses with the necessary mentality for lead blocker and does the little things well. He's an underrated pass catcher and would be a good addition to a West Coast offense.
