Willie Henry

School: Michigan
Position: DT
Positive: Three-year starter who finished with 34 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks last season. Relatively athletic defensive tackle prospect with potential in a variety of schemes. Quick off the snap with a terrific first step, rarely off his feet and battles in the middle of the line. Keeps his feet moving on contact, flashes impressive power and the ability to bull rush blockers. Effectively uses his hands, plays with a nasty streak as well as a degree of quickness. Agile with the ability to quickly change direction.
Negative: Looked out of place as a two gap end last season. Does not consistently play with proper pad level, gets tall and makes himself an easy target for opponents. Marginal pass rusher.
Analysis: Henry flashed ability the three seasons he started for Michigan and offers next level size/speed numbers as well as a degree of upside. He must improve his technique and consistently play at a high level for any chance of a career in the NFL.
