Nile Lawrence-Stample

School: Florida State
Position: DT
Positive: Three-year starter who finished with 36 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks last season. Wide bodied defensive tackle prospect who effectively controls the gaps. Shows a nice degree of athleticism in his game, stays with the action and plays through the whistle. Built low to the ground, naturally gets leverage on opponents and flashes quickness off the snap. Easily holds his ground, displays the ability to bull rush opponents off the line and moves relatively well.
Negative: More of a short area lineman. Can be turned from the action by a single blocker. Not much of a statistical factor in games.
Analysis: Lawrence-Stample had a solid career at Florida State and did a lot of things which never showed up on the stat sheet. He offers possibilities as a nose tackle or at the zero technique and will be a good fit for certain one gap systems.
