Darius Latham

School: Indiana
Position: DT
Positive: Two-year starter who posted 33 tackles and 10 tackles for loss last season. Underrated defensive tackle prospect with an explosive style. Fires off the snap with a great first step, plays with a nasty attitude and goes hard on every down. Surprisingly athletic, moves well in every direction and tough to block in one-on-one situations. Consistently doubled teamed or even triple teamed on the inside yet uses his hands well to protect himself. Shows power, quickness and bull rushes opponents off the line of scrimmage. Keeps his feet and hands active and a disruptive force.
Negative: Seems to wear down over the course of the game. Struggles facing off against wide bodied blockers. Off the field issues must be looked into.
Analysis: Latham was a tremendous force on the Hoosiers defensive line and someone who made plays or created opportunities for teammates to make plays. He offers starting potential, comes with a large degree of upside and could surprise as a rookie in the NFL if even chores as a person.
