Terrell Lathan

School: TCU
Position: DE
Positive: Part-time starter the past three seasons. Posted 34 tackles as a senior after career-best 5.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss the prior year. Tall and somewhat athletic defensive end who flashes ability. Moves well about the field, quickly changes direction and collapses down the line of scrimmage, showing speed in pursuit. Occasionally stands up over tackle, makes plays in space and keeps his hands active throughout the action. Breaks down well and consistently plays with good lean.
Negative: Has a thin build and easily out positioned from the action. Controlled by tight ends. Has average production in college and was never a consistent starter.
Analysis: Lathan flashed ability each of the past three seasons but never consistently put together a complete game. He must improve his playing strength as well as his techniques to be more than just a practice squad player.
