Roy Robertson-Harris

School: UTEP
Position: DE
Positive: Three-year starter who finished with 51 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks as a senior when he was named team captain. Underrated defensive front seven prospect who shows solid pass rushing skill. Plays with a degree of athleticism, easily changes his angle of attack or redirects to the action. Moves well laterally, plays with balance and rarely off his feet. Shows the ability to bend off the edge, fluid moving in every direction and breaks down well. Uses his hands to protect himself and slides off blocks to get to the ball handler. Quickly locates the ball and plays through the whistle. Turned in a terrific pro-day workout.
Negative: Lacks bulk and engulfed at the point of attack. Average closing burst and pursuit speed. Occasionally stood up over tackle in college but looked slow and unnatural.
Analysis: Robertson-Harris was a consistent producer on the college level who got the most from his ability. He has nice length as well as growth potential which must be met for him to have a chance of making NFL roster.
