Rashard Robinson

School: x-LSU
Position: CB
Positive: Started six games in 2014 finishing with 17 tackles before he was suspended indefinitely. Never reinstated for the following season and sat on the sidelines in 2015. Tall, athletic cornerback with tremendous upside. Fluid transitioning off the line, can flip his hips and has a downfield burst. Physical, mixes it up with receivers and overwhelms opponents. Has a quick closing burst, enough speed to recover and plays faster than his 40 time. Displays a nice move to the throw and a tremendous burst out of his plant.
Negative: Possesses a thin frame and out muscled by opponents. Not strong in run defense. Bites on the ball fakes and marginal instincts.
Analysis: Robinson displayed flashes of dominance the short time he played at LSU and comes with incredible upside. Likely to be drafted much earlier than people think, he could develop into a starter if he keeps his focus on the field, makes football a priority and matures as a person.
