Daryl Worley

School: West Virginia
Position: CB
Positive: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors last season as a junior after finishing with 49 tackles, 6 INT's and 12 PBUs. Underrated cornerback with terrific ball skills. Physical, aggressive and plays while injured. Plays faster than his 40 time, runs downfield with opponents and effectively tracks the pass in the air. Has a nice move to the throw, shows terrific hands for the interception and effectively times his pass defenses. Battles with receivers, explosive at the point and a solid open field tackler. Consistently positions himself to break up passes. Gives effort defending the run.
Negative: Often times loses a step to opponents off the line of scrimmage. Seems to lose a sense of where he is in relation to the receiver he's covering. Deep speed is an issue.
Analysis: Worley possesses the ball skills necessary to line up in a variety of systems and could be a starter on Sunday if he polishes game.
