Vince Mayle

School: Washington State
Position: WR
Bio: Junior-college transfer who moved into the starting line up last season and posted career totals of 106 receptions, 1483 yards and 9 TDs.
Positive: Productive receiver best running underneath routes. Fights with his hands to get separation, sells routes and possesses a short burst. Extends to pluck the pass from the air, displays good eye/hand coordination and uses his frame to shield away defenders. Nicely makes the over the shoulder reception, easily adjusts to the ball and tracks the pass is in the air. Gives effort blocking and gets results.
Negative: Lacks the second gear and not a deep threat. Had one tremendously productive season in college in part due to the system at Washington State. Not a quick route runner who's going to separate in underneath coverage.
Analysis: Mayle is a nice-sized receiver prospect with a developing game. More of a possession type, Mayle will be a solid mid-round selection who could develop into a fourth receiver at the next level.
