Tony Lippett

School: Michigan State
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter named Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2014 after career totals of 65 receptions, 1198 yards and 11 TDs.
Positive: Nice-sized receiver with natural pass catching skill. Fluid, easily adjusts to errant throws and displays soft and strong hands. Gets down to scoop up low passes, displays good eye/hand coordination and consistently offers the quarterback a target. Makes receptions away from his frame. Fights with his hands to separate from defenders, comes back to the ball out of breaks and takes a big hit but holds onto the throw. Double and even triple-teamed by opponents but comes away with receptions in a crowd. Sells routes.
Negative: Occasionally loses concentration, which leads to dropped passes. Despite his 40 time, does not display a burst or the ability to run to the deep throw. Rounds off routes.
Analysis: Lippett was a productive receiver at Michigan State showing consistent development and possesses the skills necessary to be a fourth or possibly third receiver at the next level.
