Tommy Shuler

School: Marshall
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his sophomore season. Totals last year included 92 receptions for 1138 yards and 9 TDs. Career totals of 110 receptions came during his sophomore campaign.
Positive: Small but explosive receiver who's been very productive on the college level. Quick off the snap, runs solid routes and separates from defenders. Fights to come free, extends his hands offering the quarterback a target and looks passes in. Nimble, agile and easily adjusts to errant throws. Easily makes receptions in contorted positions and exposes himself to big hits.
Negative: Not a true downfield threat. Small and loses out in battles.
Analysis: Schuler was very productive for Marshall the past three seasons but has size limitations and lacks elite speed. He could make it as a slot receiver if he produces as a punt returner this summer.
