Matt Miller

School: Boise State
Position: WR
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a sophomore. Senior totals included 28 receptions for 461 yards when he played in just five games after suffering an ankle injury. Junior totals included a career-best 88 receptions, 1140 yards and 12 TDs.
Positive: Dependable college receiver with poor speed for the next level. Comes back to the quarterback to make himself an available target, finds the clearing in underneath coverage and consistently makes receptions with his hands. Sells routes, adjusts errant throws and nicely makes receptions in stride. Displays soft hands and looks the pass in. Possesses solid awareness and football instincts.
Negative: One-speed receiver who does not get separation down the field. Slows into routes and not sharp getting into breaks.
Analysis: Miller was consistent and productive at Boise until his senior season was halted by an ankle injury. If back to health he'll have an opportunity as a fifth receiver in a West Coast or timing offense.
