Marquez Clark

School: Central Oklahoma
Position: WR
Bio: Struggled with injury last season and caught just 9 passes for 35 yards. All-American selection as a junior after finishing with 82 receptions, 1348 yards and 5 TDs. Also averaged 18.1 yards on 18 punt returns with two more scores in 2013.
Positive: Quick, productive skill player with average size/speed numbers. Quickly gets out of breaks, stays low on exit and nicely tracks the pass in the air. Gets up in a crowd, looks the ball into his hands then comes down with the difficult reception. Displays soft, strong hands and adjusts to snatch errant passes from the air. Keeps the play in bounds and has a smooth, fluid style. Terrific punt returner who finds the lane and shows a burst.
Negative: Possesses average long speed and not a deep threat. Occasionally lets the pass get inside him. Coming off a disappointing senior season.
Analysis: Prior to the 2014 campaign, Clark was highly rated by scouts but struggled throughout the year. At the top of his game he's a potential fifth receiver/return specialist.
