Kenny Cook

School: Gardner-Webb
Position: WR
Bio: Junior-college transfer who posted 64 receptions, 750 yards and 5 TDs as a senior. All-American receiver as a junior after numbers of 76/1008/9.
Positive: Underrated receiver with the size and pass catching skill to play the next level. Displays a sense of timing, gets high over defenders and comes away with the difficult catch. Quickly gets into breaks, extends and makes receptions away from his frame. Displays good focus as well as eye/hand coordination. Uses his size as an advantage out muscling opponents or beating them down to come away with the ball.
Negative: Slows into routes and gets choppy footed. One-speed wideout and lacks a burst. Marginal quickness.
Analysis: Cook comes off a slightly disappointing senior campaign but was a terrific receiver at Gardner Webb and has enough ability to hang around as a fifth wide out for an offense which requires him to run underneath routes.
