Jimmie Hunt

School: Missouri
Position: WR
Bio: Broke into the starting line up as a senior then posted career totals of 40 receptions, 698 receiving yards and 7 TDs.
Positive: Dependable underneath receiver with solid eye/hand coordination. Nicely adjusts to errant throws making receptions in stride, uses his frame to protect passes and keeps the play in bounds, working to pick up positive yardage. Gets vertical and contorts as well as exposes himself to big hits in order to come away with the ball. Effectively follows the quarterback across the field to make himself an available target and looks the ball into his hands.
Negative: Does not display naturally soft hands. Average speed and not a vertical threat.
Analysis: Hunt made significant strides last season and is a nice-sized receiver who should get consideration on a practice squad.
