Adrian Coxson

School: Stony Brook
Position: WR
Bio: Maryland transfer who posted career totals of 43 receptions, 664 yards and six TDs last season.
Positive: Athletic receiver with solid size/speed numbers but an underwhelming game. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, comes back into the clearing to make himself an available target and contorts or adjusts to errant throws. Uses his frame to shield away defenders, and physically beats down opponents to come away with contested passes.
Negative: Does not consistently play like a big-bodied receiver and at times struggles winning out in battles. Lacks soft hands and does too much body catching. Does not possess a deep burst nor does he play to his 40 time.
Analysis: Coxson is a physically gifted athlete must translate his natural ability into football production. Though he shows flashes of next-level ability, for the most part he falls flat in many areas of the receiver position. Coxson possesses the underlying skills to be a fifth wideout on an NFL roster but must improve every aspect of his game and play at a high level of consistency.
