Hunter Westfall

School: Richmond
Position: TE
Bio: Two-year starter who posted career numbers of 18 receptions for 214 yards as a junior.
Positive: Nice-sized tight end who's been minimally productive on the small-school level. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, uses his hands to separate from opponents and follows the quarterback across the field to make himself an available target. Stays square blocking, keeps the defender in front of him and explosive at the point of attack. Keeps his head on a swivel and effectively picks up stunts or blitzes thrown by the opposition.
Negative: Does not sink his hips at the line and gets narrow-based blocking. Lacks consistent hands catching the ball. Average speed.
Analysis: Westfall possesses impressive size but has been minimally involved in Richmond's offense as both a receiver and blocker. Unless he quickly elevates his play he'll be a camp casualty this summer.
