T.J. Clemmings

School: Pittsburgh
Position: T
Bio: Former defensive lineman who started the past two seasons at right tackle. Awarded All-America and All-conference honors last year.
Positive: Athletic and explosive offensive line prospect with potential at a variety of positions. Fires off the snap, keeps his feet moving and blocks with good lean. Agile, adjusts to oncoming defenders and anchors in pass protection. Displays good lateral blocking range with the ability to slide out and protect the edge. Moves well on his feet and effective blocking in motion. Gets his hands into opponents and works them throughout the play.
Negative: Stiff, mechanical and must improve his balance. Lacks a dominant lower body and will be pushed back off the line.
Analysis: Much ballyhooed moving towards the draft, Clemmings is a solid second round choice with tremendous upside potential. He offers possibilities at guard or tackle and he could move into a starting role two years down the road.
