Jacob Rodgers

School: Eastern Washington
Position: T
Bio: Washington State transfer awarded All-America and all-conference honors last season when he broke into the starting line up on a full-time basis.
Positive: Large, smart blocker with next-level ability. Keeps his head on a swivel, shows good awareness and effective in pass protection as well as run blocking. Makes good use of angles and body positioning, displays better than average footwork and stays square. Blocks with a nasty attitude, controls opponents at the point of attack and easily rides defenders from the play. Shows ability blocking the edge and keeps his quarterback upright.
Negative: Must be more consistent with his hand use. Does not sink his hips at the line of scrimmage.
Analysis: After not establishing himself early in his college career, Rodgers' game took off in 2014. He possesses the size and upside potential to play the next level but must be more consistent with his fundamentals.
