Andrus Peat

School: Stanford
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors the past two years and named to several All-America teams in 2014.
Positive: Consistent offensive tackle prospect with a slightly overrated game. Blocks with leverage, stays square and anchors in pass protection. Can adjust to blitzes, gets his hands into speed rushers and knocks them from their angle of attack. Fires out to the second level getting a pad on linebackers to disrupt their angle of attack. Shows strength in his lower body, plays with consistent leverage and large enough to engulf opponents. Makes great use of angles, displays footwork off the edge and slides laterally to protect his quarterback.
Negative: Gets narrow-based in his setup. Lacks balance and often times can be found on the ground. Late off the snap into blocks.
Analysis: Peat is an outstanding pass protector and offensive line prospect with upside but someone who must smooth out the rough edges of his game. Though considered a top 10 selection by many he is by no means a sure thing.
