Ty-Meer Brown

School: Boston College
Position: S
Bio: Connecticut transfer who finished with 39 tackles and 1 interception last season.
Positive: Solid three-down safety with poor measurables for the next level. Effectively diagnoses plays, keeps the action in front of him and quick up the field defending the run. Shows range in centerfield with the ability to get outside the numbers. Works well with cornerbacks, displays a sense of timing and gives effort defending the throw.
Negative: At times does more hitting rather than wrap-up tackling. Average ball skills. Marginally productive in college.
Analysis: Brown was a solid safety at Connecticut before being a part-time player last season for Boston College. He offers possibilities at the next level as a dime back but will have to earn his wage on special teams.
