Jarrick Williams

School: Alabama
Position: S
Bio: Played 11 games last season totaling 14 tackles after starting 10 games as a junior and posting 24 tackles.
Positive: Solid zone safety prospect who plays smart football. Does not bite on playaction passes, stays with responsibilities and finds a way to make plays on the ball. Diagnoses the action, keeps the play in front of him and does a solid job over the slot receiver. Shows a burst to the ball out of his plant and plays faster than his 40 time.
Negative: Average quickness. Not a stout open field tackler. Has a history of knee injuries.
Analysis: After a solid junior season, Williams was squeezed from the starting lineup last year but was effective in a backup role. He has speed limitations but could be used as a ninth defensive back in zone coverage if he plays well on special teams.
