Craig Bills

School: BYU
Position: S
Bio: Two-year starter who played as a freshman in 2009 before going on a Mormon mission. Missed four games with a variety of injuries last season, finishing the year with 51 tackles and one interception. Career-best 78 tackles came the prior year.
Positive: Tough, hard-working defensive back with average size/speed numbers. Effective facing the action, plays with discipline and keeps the action in front of him. Nicely tracks the pass in the air and displays good hands for interceptions. Solid special-teams player who stands out on coverage units.
Negative: Slow transitioning with receivers and loses a half step down the field. Does not display the ability to quickly close to the action. Average recovery speed. Not a stout wrap-up tackler.
Analysis: Bills was a serviceable safety on the college level but is an over aged prospect with poor next level speed.
